Igniting Social Impact: Leadership Perspectives from Women Sparking Change
A Leadership Speaker Series hosted by The GCG Collective

Leadership for positive social and organizational change requires unwavering vision, a passion for people and communities, and the resilience to meet and move through inevitable challenges. Join us in lifting the voices and perspectives of women leading transformational change. Through an intimate career Q&A and a mutually supportive circle for small group conversation and relationship building, this series aims to strengthen the community of women leaders working together to realize a more just and joyful world.

Meet Andrea

“The work I do — in employee experience, DEI, and culture — is beautiful, but it’s also heavy. I’ve learned to protect my energy and set boundaries, especially as this work faces growing resistance. I choose the level of intimacy I have with my work so I can sustain my impact.”

Andrea Forsht is a people-first culture leader with over 15 years of experience designing and scaling programs that elevate the employee experience and drive meaningful, inclusive change. With a career spanning tech, healthcare, and mission-driven organizations, Andrea has led high-impact initiatives across DEIB, internal communications, engagement, and social impact.

She currently serves as the Senior Director, Employee Experience and Development at Parachute Health, where she’s focused on creating a connected, inclusive, and high-performing remote-first culture. Previously, Andrea was the Chief Consulting Officer at Hummingbird, a culture consultancy where she helped organizations build more human-centered workplaces through strategy, storytelling, and employee experience design.

Andrea also held senior roles at companies including Quickbase, where she served on the HR leadership team and built out the company’s DEI, internal communications, and engagement functions. Her earlier career includes impactful work at DentaQuest, Mimecast, and Thomson Reuters, consistently standing up programs that help teams thrive and cultures scale with care.

Known for her empathetic leadership style and relationship-first approach, Andrea leads with authenticity and influence to bring about meaningful change. She holds a master’s degree in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Minnesota.

Outside of work, you’ll find her running, strength training, cycling on her Peloton, reading with her book club, or spending time with her husband Greg and their three young children in the Minneapolis area. Connect with Andrea on LinkedIN
